Three things!

1) The VACOMEGAS has a quiet flow-through motor that substantially reduces noise. If you run your vacuum cleaner for prolonged periods or use it around others, say in an office environment, you should definitely choose the VACOMEGAS. 

2) The VACOMEGAS and VACOMEGA both feature a compartment inside the vacuum cleaner case for storing the hose, power cord and tools when not in use. The VACOMEGAS has a hinged, solid plastic cover to hold everything in place. The VACOMEGA has 3 fabric straps with Velcro fasteners . 

3) The VACOMEGAS includes a shoulder strap. You can carry the vacuum cleaner over your shoulder and still have both hands free to hold a toolkit, repair parts, cleaning supplies, etc... when moving from place to place.
