What is microfiber?
Microfiber is a special ultra-fine yarn comprised of microscopic
wedge-shaped polyester filaments surrounding a
polyamide (nylon) core. These fibers are 100 times finer than a human hair
and a single square inch of microfiber contains over 100,000 individual
fibers! The small spaces between the fibers are the
secret to microfiber's ability to pick-up and hold
dirt, dust, oil, grime, etc... until washed away with soap and water.
Ordinary
cloth towels just push dirt around leaving streaks
and residue.
